Our Dogs Portraits – Oxfordshire Pet Portraits Photography

My second post during the Lockdown of 2020 is about 2 Sprockers & a Great Dane x Labrador. These 3 Bitches are probably the best dogs in the world and deserve a few amazing images to show off to my audience.

Around the small village of Benson, South Oxfordshire, where we live, we have some great countryside where we can walk for miles and the dogs run, using all up all their energy. In and out of streams, chasing birds and generally just getting pretty dirty. But before all the fun, they were models for a few minutes and what great models they were.

Check out my 21 favourite images from the shoot.

Harewood Forest Wedding – Hampshire Wedding Photographer

As a Hampshire Wedding Photographer it was an honour to shoot Nick & Claire’s Harewood Forest Wedding, which held at Tree Runners. Very unusual place to hold a wedding but with Nick & Claire and their guests it was not going to be a usual wedding.

It was a wedding to remember with a Tipi reception, a cool, beer swigging priest and a roasting by the couple’s kids, all adding to the feel of the day. With family and friends coming together and the emphasis being fun, laughter, plenty of drinking and more laughter.

From the start to finish it was a pleasure to shoot and one of funniest weddings I have shot. It was a party anyone would have loved to have been at.

Islington Town Hall Wedding – London Wedding Photographer

Hugh & Katie’s Islington Town Hall Wedding was a quaint and beautiful affair that I had the pleasure to photograph back in August.

The day started off at the infamous Islington Town Hall before heading to Camden Lock for the reception on a canal barge. It was such a wonderful day and the unique setting of the canal barge made the day even more special for Hugh & Katie.

Hugh who is a Software Engineer and Katie, an editor, met at University in Bristol. Katie moved in with Hugh’s friends and started to listen to his show on the Student radio station. Love blossomed and a couple of years later, Hugh proposed at the same pub back in Bristol, that they have there first date.

“We wanted our wedding to be casual and for everyone to feel comfortable, which is why there was no dress code and the venues were quite informal”

They chose Islington Town Hall and My Fair Lady Canal boats, from the world famous Camden lock, as when they used to live in Islington they love walking from Islington Town Hall down to the canal having a long stroll down to their favourite local pub Craft Beer Co, and it was great choice as it was everything they wanted out of the venues.

“Jay was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout – making sure we weren’t too nervous and staying as long as he needed to capture the day. We’re so happy with the photographs, as were our guests. We would definitely recommend Jay to anyone”

I just loved the feeling of this Islington Town Hall wedding and everyone made me feel so welcome, plus with the sun shining it was a perfect Summer Wedding. Thank you to Hugh, Katie, & guests it was a pleasure to capture you at your Islington Town Hall Wedding.

Dartmouth House Wedding – London Wedding Photographer

Dartmouth House Wedding – Tina & Martin London Wedding

Tina & Martin’s Dartmouth House Wedding in the middle of Mayfair London, was an gorgeous affair from start to finish.

From the getting ready on Kings Road, Chelsea; the ceremony at Our Most Holy Redeemer & St. Thomas More Church, Chelsea; the ice-cream reception at a small little garden on Chelsea Embankment with a Taxi converted into a Ice-cream Van; the old Routemaster,  which ferried all the guest to Dartmouth House, Mayfair; then finally partying and sparklers the night away.

The day started for myself and my 2nd Photographer, Laura Martha, on the Kings Road, Chelsea with Tina getting ready with her ladies whilst Martin was a few streets away with his boys.

It was such a beautiful sunny morning and perfect light to capture Mel Kinsman, Make Up Extraordinaire, & Laura Anne create magic on the Hair for the bride and her bridesmaids. At the boys house, it was all about getting ready leisurely watching a bit of Australia Rules Football.

The ceremony took place at Our Most Holy Redeemer & St. Thomas More Church in Chelsea, which is a stunning church located between the stylish Kings Road and Chelsea Embankment on the River Thames.

With the magnificent backdrop of the church interior, with its grand pillars and stain glass windows, the Dartmouth House Wedding of Tina & Martin was going to be a wonderful affair.

After the ceremony, the wedding party walked to a small little garden next to Chelsea Embankment where a few group shots were taken, whilst The Ice Cream Cab served Ice cream from the top of the taxi.

Once the all ice-cream was eaten and the group photos taken, it was a hop onto the London Routemaster for the guest whilst Tina & Martin took a traditional London taxi to there Dartmouth House Wedding.

Arriving at Dartmouth House, Mayfair the guest were treated to an champagne reception before invited to seat down for 3 course wedding breakfast. During the meal we were entertained by speeches from Tina’s brother & Sister, Martin & finally one of the Best Men.

After the cake-cutting and partying, the wonderful day was ended with a sparklers send off for the couple.

It was such a wonderful day and wish Tina & Martin all the happiness in the world

Enjoy the images
