Marrakech Morocco Wedding – Kristina & Tony’s La Palais Paysan Fine Art Wedding
Kristina & Tony’s La Palais Paysan Marrakech Morocco Wedding
“Hi Jay, you know the Marrakech Morocco Wedding I was talking about, how do you fancy shooting it with me?” This was the silly question I was asked by my good friend and partner in crime, Anesta Broad (sorry Anesta).
For me, this was a no-brainer. I have been to Marrakech before on holiday and fell in love with it straight away, so to be asked to do my job in this incredible place, I had to accept straight away.
Kristina & Tony’s Wedding was held in a remote location just outside Marrakech; the stunning La Palais Paysan Hotel, with the Atlas Mountains as a backdrop, was 5 star beauty with all the trimmings and with Morocco Wedding planning company La Boutique Souk helping to create their dream wedding, it was set up to be an amazing weekend.
With close family & friends, who travelled from Essex and the Caribbean, the wedding was a beautiful affair. The wedding ceremony was held on the lawn outside in the late afternoon sun, then the reception moved to a poolside set-up before they partied late into the night. The party didn’t stop there with a Pool Party the next day with the beautiful weather making the hangovers not so bad.
I hate this cliché, but it was one of the best weddings I have had the pleasure to photograph. Thank you Anesta for the invite, it was great being your wingman again and can’t wait for another adventure soon. Thanks to Kristina & Tony, from the first minute I arrived – to the late night drinks the next day – you made me feel so welcome and part of the wedding which I will never forget.
Anyway, I will let the images tell the story of the day xxx
Game of Thrones Bridal Shoot
Winter might not be coming, but this Bridal Shoot will get you in the mood for the new series of Game of Thrones
Depending on how much you are fan of Game of Thrones you have only have wait a few hours or just under 24 hours before watching the most anticipated new series of this thrilling TV Show. The HBO series has everything that makes it one of the best shows made for TV, in my mind and quite a few others, I believe.
So it was fitting that the very popular wedding blog, “Want That Wedding”, decided to share a Bridal shoot that I was honoured to plan and photographed last summer. I won’t go into too much details as Sonia Collett from Want That Wedding wrote up a great piece, and you can also read what Erin Balfour the styling co-ordinator & joint planner of this Bridal shoot and myself had to say about planning it.
Please click on the link, even if you are not a Game of Thrones fan, because you will love it. From the stunning dresses provided by Heart Aflutter Bridal, the amazing creative hair styling from Love Hair by Louise to the breathtaking cake from French made. All this set-up in the spectacular venue of Blackfriars in Gloucester.
Just a few images from the day, but more on the blog from Want That Wedding.
