“I want you as my Wedding Photographer”, this is the words the Groom, Lee said to me when he was the Best Man at a wedding I was photographing a few years ago. The funny thing was that Lee hadn’t met Jo yet, let alone proposed to her. Fast forward to December 2017, when Lee proposed to Jo, he got in touch with me and the famous words he said to me at Brett & Jodie’s Wedding came true.
I do enjoy an Essex Wedding and Lee & Jo’s was going to be a good one. It was a relaxed affair with Jo deciding to get ready by the sea at the Roslin Beach Hotel down the road in Thorpe Bay. With the help of a friend to do her make-up and the Hair stylist to the rich and famous of Essex, Brad Allen making her look amazing, Jo looked stunning in her Bridal dress from Serena Bridal.
Lee got ready at home with his mates and the boys around him, downing a few beers and a having a kick about in between getting a fresh hair cut and getting dressed.
The venue, The Red Brick Barn in Rochford, Essex was decked out in a Art Deco theme with a chilled vibe to the event. And the Pie & Mash for the wedding breakfast was a touch of class for a proper London EastEnd/Essex knees up.
Once the party started you knew that it was going to be a late and messy one, just the way the Bride & Groom wanted it. The dance floor was packed and it stayed that way until closing time, believe me I know I was there!!
Anyway, let these images set a scene for you and if you want to see more from the day, he is the gallery.
